[ five minutes later, she's heading in the door. her first stop's the living room, and if josh is anywhere to be found in there, she'll sink down heavy on the couch and pull her feet up cross-legged. ]
[Josh has been waiting in the living room, and he looks round when he hears the door open, frowning. He's partly annoyed, because Sally didn't come to him first and whatever's going on, it does not sound good. He can't help his expression relaxing when he sees her though.
[ sally tilts over sideways to lean her head on his shoulder, letting out a sigh of resignation. ] Objectively? No way. If it were you or Aidan, I'd be pretty much in the clear already.
[ but 'objectively' rarely applies to richie, even if he's actually pretty decent at objectivity in general. she admits: ] He won't even talk to me.
He'll come around. [Then he winces a little because man, if that isn't just the most stereotypical almost answer to comfort he could give.]
